Gary Swift, a fellow chartered accountant and an experienced director and trustee, has worked in large corporates as a Chief Financial Officer and as the Chief Executive at Auckland Council Investments Limited. He is StarJam’s treasurer and a trustee.
Gary has a long connection with not-for-profits, often as their treasurer. He was delighted to put his name forward for StarJam’s board and finds it very rewarding to invest his time and efforts into helping charities achieve their goals.
Gary’s experience has shown him that many charities lack people with financial expertise at management or board level, and they often struggle to find the right people for these roles. Luckily for StarJam, Gary really enjoys financial management and excels at it.
